Methodology

How we count

  1. 01Requests are logged at the Cloudflare edge, before they reach our servers. Only known crawler User-Agents are recorded; human visitors are never logged.
  2. 02Each bot is verified against its vendor's published IP ranges or by reverse DNS. Spoofed and unverifiable requests are removed.
  3. 03Classic search engine crawlers (for example Googlebot and Bingbot) are excluded.
  4. 04Figures cover up to the last 30 full days, are recomputed daily and are rounded down.
  5. 05There are no network totals: each website reports its own window, so the figures cannot be added up.
  6. 06A fetch is not a citation. These numbers show that AI systems read the pages, not how often they quote them.
